Art Ed Announces New Community Printmaking Program
The Art & Art Education Program at TC is pleased to announce a Community Printmaking Program beginning this summer. As a non-credit program, it is open to students, faculty and the general public (18 years and older).
The program offers the opportunity to use their professional printmaking studio, which includes printing presses and equipment for etching, stone and plate lithography, relief-printing, and silkscreen.
The fee for the summer will be $500, and will include access to the printmaking studios from June 1st to August 17th, 2015, as well as use of basic studio tools, equipment and materials.
Art & Art Education is now accepting applications through this form: CommunityPrintmakingApplication2015.
For experienced printmakers who wish to have access to the studio space to work on their own, with use of basic studio tools, equipment and materials, the application deadline is May 10, 2015.
For those with little or no prior printmaking experience, they will offer introductory workshops and assistance in basic printmaking techniques, the chance to explore materials and feel comfortable in using the studio. The application deadline for these workshops is May 1, 2015. Please note, workshop offerings will be based upon interest and availability.
Enrollment for the Community Printmaking Program is extremely limited.
